I mean, I do work in a variety of areas of philosophy outside of strict philosophy of physics because they end up kind of bearing on things I'm interested in in the philosophy of physics.

I'm interested in the way it relates to things I think about in physics with relation to the role of time.
And I worked on self-location because it ties into the Everett interpretation and cosmology.
And I worked on a few sort of philosophy of mind style things because I think it is relevant to concerns I have about time and the experience of time in physics.
So, yeah, I mean, all of these things stem from the work that I do in physics, but I end up going a bit beyond it sometimes.
Yeah, I think as David says, his work takes seriously physics as it actually is and tries to understand and clarify issues in it and have a better sense of what's going on in the physics and what that tells us about philosophy.

I find it very helpful.
I think it's very clarifying to read that stuff and it certainly improves my own understanding of what's going on.
I think I personally am more willing to alter things, but I think nonetheless it's really important if you're going to do that to really understand what's actually happening and why it's happening.
