I think I'd always just sort of accepted the thing the Ephraitians say, which is that zero mod squared amplitude, it's not there, don't have to worry about it.

Uh Jacob has has this nice argument to sort of sh point out that that doesn't necessarily follow, that you should perhaps be more careful with that.

So that has really given me a new way of thinking about that.

Uh something that comes to mind is uh um the our views on self location and the relevance of that.

Um uh

There is this very

common idea that there's certain kinds of of self locating scenarios in which there are natural ways and uh correct ways to to to think and to to hold beliefs.

So scenarios where

uh we're gonna make ten copies of you, ten clones.

We'll put nine of them in r uh rooms with blue doors and one of them in a room with a red door.

Uh and then we're gonna ask you what is the probability that you're in the blue door room.

Uh so I think most people have this quite strong intuition that it should be uh nine tenths or something.

uh and my view is view is that there's there's no rational constraints on what your your credences should be in that situation, that you're allowed to assign probabilities any way you want.

It has no real significance, it has no practical meaning.
