Yeah, whether five's the right number or fifteen's the right number, I guess the the world that I wanna be in is one where really, really egregious destruction, blatantly egregious destruction of a historic resource uh is never the the the penalty for that is always greater than podcast-host

Uh or we have the ability to impose a penalty that will be financially more painful than just writing it out for five years. podcast-host

And so that's why something more like ten or fifteen years made sense to me. podcast-host

I just think that in the absolute most egregious cases where someone clearly knows it's a historic resource and they still just decide to knock it down because they'd rather wait five years and write out the penalties than to um you know just leave it alone. podcast-host

And maybe we won't hopefully we'll never be in that world, but podcast-host
