Because especially as a woman in a trade show industry, which is traditionally men, for you to toddle around, which I'm sure that's how they saw you when you started, to being someone that commands respect...
Like 10 years is a long time.
Like they must have by the end of that 10 years realized like, okay, if I want anything done, I got to go through Gatekeeper Dorothy.
So were you traveling nonstop?
Was that hard?
Do you think, having been there for so long, that were you open to seeing, like, you know, trends that were going on that other shows were doing and then being open-minded to saying, okay, because what they're doing, we should incorporate that too?
Or was it very much...
It's such a hard mindset in such a, it is a competitive industry because there weren't so many players.
And then it's like, oh, you went to this show, so you can't come to that show.
And it was very, I remember it being very doggy, cutthroat, which is nuts to say, you know, hopefully I can make it into this show.
But if I don't get into this show, I'll get into that one, which is like four tiers lower, but at least an A show.
So how did you handle all of that?
Right, right.
Yeah.
Oh God.
I remember that.
It was when that hit, how did that, you know, all of a sudden people say, I don't have the budget.
I can't do this.
