I remember you'd have to take the shuttle to the piers, you know, and I remember I had a spot in the Javits and a friend of mine had a spot in the piers and she was so pissed because she's like, I only get people that are doing it and rushing through because they're afraid they've missed something.
And it was just, you know, it's like having too big of a buffet.

No, I couldn't agree more.
I mean, part of the reason why, and obviously this preceded you, but part of the reason why I felt like New York now made the most sense for the it bag was truly the diversity of the uniqueness of the products around and that we wanted to take a very non-traditional and as far as I'm concerned, obvious approach to
to how handbags should be merchandised, how it should be done in a very clean manner, that these brands that don't have the, not even so much the assortment, but don't have
the 15 years under their belts.
They don't need a full booth.
Let's keep it looking like you are a customer shopping as a buyer, as if you were walking through Nordstrom just to have the key items that the designer already knows are their best sellers.
Because designers like anybody else, like I've been through run-throughs, I've been through having buyers come into showrooms.
If there's too much product, it's too much.
And if I know as a designer, these are my it bags.
And people said, oh, what's the it bag?
I said, the it bag is what the designers know are their best-selling items.
It is their key item.
So they are cutting out the time that you're wasting.
trying to determine what the best-selling item is.
If they're coming in telling you, here's my best product, here it is in three different shapes, two different sizes, four colors, and I have two new items that I'm showing, just test out the waters.
They have done the heavy lifting.
They are saving the time and they're already telling you, this will sell.
