I m my intuition was that they don't have a truth value.
They're rather than them having a null extension, they're the sorts of things that don't have an extension at all.
You know, this is where I get pulled both ways.

It it also to to insert a pejorative expression into a very formal sentence like that seems like this isn't the work that pejorative expressions do in our language.

So I'm very interested in the transition of truth value from, for example, there are no queers to look at all the queers or I'm queer.
On your view, what is happening to account for that transition when a word gets reclaimed?
Can you just go into a bit more detail on what's happening at the linguistic level though when I say I'm queer and I say that as a positive affirming part of my identity?

So I think in any sport, there's an acceptable sort of harm that comes with the sport, and then there's an unacceptable type of harm.
And the question is, which side is doping on?
Are there forms of doping that you want to continue to outright ban, and then some which you would prefer to have regulated?
And if so, how does that relate to the way it harms an athlete and whether it's an acceptable or unacceptable harm?
We've seen in sports like tennis, for example, that as technology advances, for example, the technology of the rackets, the rules of the game are close behind to sort of mitigate the advances made possible by those technological advances.
