So investors could really look for ESG funds, ESG products in a variety of places.
And in fact, we spoke with the head of the International Institute of Finance, who mentioned how, you know, more and more financial services companies are developing new products that are considered green, you know, green bonds, you know, green funds.
And so I think if you're looking for it, you'll be able to find it.
I think the companies, especially large companies and their trade groups, know that change is likely to happen.
We even saw one of the Democratic SEC commissioners, Alison Herron-Lee, has quite frequently and publicly said that there needs to be more on ESG.
And that's just from one governmental agency.
Now that there is a Democratic president, you know, we'll likely see it move in that direction.

how ESG could change depending on the company and depending on the sector.
For instance, in retail, what might be important for ESG, such as not having child labor and certainly having consistent and legal labor practices, might be very different than what you see from an oil and gas company that's thinking about
you know, the environment and climate change and those factors.

I spoke with John Hale, the head of sustainability research at Morningstar, and even though there's more likely regulations coming to U.S.
companies,
that is unlikely to impact what it looks like for investors.
It just means that ESG factors are becoming more important for both large and small companies across sectors.
And that means investors will likely see it at the forefront of the companies they invest into.
