But when I had my kids, it wasn't particularly compatible.

Yes, I always want to shout about The Bridge Hender by Jo Harkin, which is just absolutely brilliant.

But I also wanted to shout out about Ghosts of the Farm, which is a, it's actually nonfiction, but it reads like a novel.

And it's about this woman's experience of farming.

And then she takes up the story of a real woman who farmed the same land as her in the 1940s.

And she just tells it so beautifully.

It's all about land and farming and women.

And yeah, it's just really great.
