In a report on OpenAI's website, the company disclosing six cases as part of a new reporting framework for what it calls misalignment when AI actions stray from human intent.
In one case, a model writing itself hidden reminders to conceal errors and make up missing data.
In another, an unreleased model adding unrelated instructions to ignore its own constraints.
