Let me give some context. We was on holiday for his birthday, took him away. And I planned, I was going to tell him, I found out just before we were flying. So I was like, printed off some pictures to like, for his birthday and all, it's pinning pictures around just for about a year together. And so I had this picture of the pregnancy test, I was going to pin it somewhere so he could see it.
And then just something in me was like, no, that doesn't seem right. I'm just not going to do it that way. So I took the picture down. I didn't have the picture up. And I kind of just waited and kind of brewed on it. And I let him have his birthday. So I told him the next day at dinner. And we were getting some wine. He was like, oh, let's get a bottle of wine.
I was like, I don't really fancy a drink. And immediately that rang alarm bells for him because I love a glass of wine. And he was a bit like, OK, are you feeling OK? And I was like, yeah, I just need to go to the toilet. I went to the toilet. I was in the mirror. I was like, right, Emily, why are you so nervous? Just compose yourself. Like, it's fine. I don't know why I was so nervous.
It's just something in me was like, I just knew he was going to like, just, I don't know. Cause it's such a shock, I think. So then I came back out and I just said straight away, I was like, Cam, I'm pregnant. And he went, I think you spat your drink out, didn't you? Yeah. You were like, what?
