Those are the insecurities I had when I was a teenager.
For me it was really important to actually put myself into Lily, both like physically and mentally, because
You know, when I was a teenager, I felt very misunderstood.
I felt othered.
I felt I don't know.
I I just I never always fit in.
And I think that that's what I want this game to be, to have teenagers play it and feel like it's okay to be themselves.
It's okay to have weird niche interests and it's okay to not look a certain way.
When I guess to get a bit deep here, I grew up in a mostly white area and I was definitely made fun of for looking Asian.
I felt super ugly because I was Asian and it wasn't until college that I realized like, oh wait, I'm not ugly.
I just pe people were just racist.
and
That that is a very similar struggle that Lily goes in um goes into as in like not feeling beautiful, feeling these societal pressures that she has to look a certain way.
And the game is about like strong female friendship and valuing oneself outside of just appearance.
That's why it's very similar to the substance if you've seen that movie.
