I want to bring your attention to an idea I believe to be genius.

Maggie Alderson is a journo.

She used to be, she was for ages, she was a fashion writer.

She wrote a very famous column in the Sydney Morning Herald for years about fashion, but she's actually English and she lives in England now.

And she writes books and does lots of things.

She also has a newsletter that's pretty popular.

And this year she wrote, one of her substacks was called The Letter to Write for Yourself Next Festive Season.

And she wrote that she, at the end of last year's holidays, she wrote herself an email full of advice for this year's holidays and sent it with a scheduled delivery time for November the 1st.

I wouldn't even know how to do that.

I need to walk through.

And then she forgot all about it, as you do.

And then on November the 1st, this missive of wisdom dropped in her inbox saying,

I think this is genius.
