Recently I had an appointment for an MRI.

at 2.50 in the morning.

Yes, you heard that right.

2.50 a.m.

At first, I thought there had to be a mistake.

Then I realized this is Canada.

Practical to the very end.

Instead of turning people away, they run MRI machines 24-7.

It threw me off a little at first, but

Hey, at least I got an appointment quickly.

Only a two-month wait time, which is actually pretty reasonable.

Thankfully, I was covered by my provincial health insurance.
