When it's comparing things, Daisy, is it comparing your children with your children or your children with lots of other children from other settings?
Because I'm just thinking about
I work in lots of different schools and it's fascinating sometimes what some schools will benchmark themselves as our writing's great and that their version of great is very different from the school down the road.
And I'm guessing that this kind of model allows you to
kind of step out of that potential problem of if you never see anybody else's work, exactly your work is simultaneously the best and the worst you'll ever see.
And it's so important not just for those schools who might have a picture of their writing being potentially better than it actually is, but also for those schools that are being genuinely hard on themselves because they haven't they haven't got that comparison with other schools.
They don't realise how great their their out their people outcomes are.
That's a really important point for me 'cause I'm just thinking about when I used to teach writing with year six.
So
Deep deep in the the weeds of sats and what have you.
But it was
What was really interesting for me as a teacher was over time.
Say I was marking Jenny's book, and I think Jenny's she's got semicolons in a right ravel, she's got verb noun agreement, all that things.
But gradually over time, I see that shift in her writing.
And personally, I can go, brilliant, I can give I can tell her that because I can see change over time with her.
