And I just, I would listen to my clients and think, oh my goodness, I totally agree with you.

And I felt like such a fraud.

And when I moved at the time, this was 2005, a long time ago, ACT was like in the cupboard, right?

In the cobwebs.

Nobody talks about ACT.

It was like shameful.

And I remember doing ACT in the back room, not meant to be doing it.

Everybody's meant to be doing CBT, but it felt so much more

human and more real to what I felt in the room.

And it made room for what I was feeling too, which included all of the above, right?

Feeling like an imposter, not knowing what to do, having a sort of raging self-critic.

And that that was okay.

It was okay to have all those parts of me, even when I was a therapist, that that didn't mean that I couldn't do a good job.
