She just anointed me with the thing.

So what is the thing?

She said you have an ability to communicate with people difficult truths and they still want to hear you.

So what would my advice be to people who are trying to get that confidence without setting goals?

I would tell them what Oprah told me.

You have the thing.

The question is, what is the thing?

What is the ability that you are uniquely skilled, gifted, and or excel at?

We all have it.

I promise you, you have it because we all do.

Your thing might be an incredible painter.

Your thing might be simply being a servant, a great listener.

Your thing might be being great with kids.

Your thing might be being great with animals.

You might be great with secretarial tasks.

You might be a skilled mathematician, but you have the thing.

So for those that are lacking confidence, you don't need a set of goal to know that you're skilled.

You just need to believe that you're skilled and you need to figure out what is it that you are skilled at.
