I look at what his brother threw at the table, and I see it was a ketchup packet.
After checking on my friend, I bust the packet open.
I finish eating my fries, and I was like, wait a second.
I already thought about that story and learned a lesson.
We can't be afraid of other people's fears.
And so often in life, we're afraid of other people's fears.
Imagine if I would have ran and hid because of a ketchup packet, like my friend did.
Friend was afraid of ketchup.
Mortuous, curious phobia.
I am not, but I'm not gonna hide because he was hiding.
And I think what I've done at times is being afraid of other people's fears.
So we all do like we're afraid of getting into a relationship because our friends are afraid of commitment.
We're afraid of getting out of that toxic relationship because our friends are afraid of being single.
Well, we've never left a small city in Texas.
Our parents haven't.
So we're not going to.
And I think the only way to get rid of that.
is to let go of other people's fears, let go of other people's expectations.
Because truth be told, it's other people's expectations that kind of dictate the weight of our own imagination and success.
When you think about one hit wonders in the music industry, they're one hit wonders because we called them that.
