Now, as we know, people are heading to the shops for the normal Christmas spending.

The auto enrolment pension scheme kicks off.

But when exactly are they going to drop that money and on what?

Both employees and employers will be involved in making contributions.

Well, we have a survey out this morning from PwC.

They say that 73% of Irish consumers are planning to spend the same or less compared to last year.

But how is the scheme set up?

Is there much visibility and buy-in from either of those particular groups?

We are now joined by Colin Donnery of FRS Recruitment, who's done a survey with firms about how they're going to implement this and can they remain profitable while doing so.

over the upcoming Black Friday sales weekend.
