All of American sport is littered with coaches who have a flame out and then come back and have learned the lessons.

And he's obviously an incredibly smart fella.

So I've no doubt that he will have learned.

And I just also know that he, you know, Tommy talks about the bloodlines of his grandfather was really fast.

Like they know all this stuff about every team in Kilkenny because they played...

especially him who had like 20 years of being the best player in the county.

He's played against everybody and their da and their da's da.

And so I think all that stuff matters that like he'll just have better information and a better sense of what they're trying to do.

It's just whether or not the backroom team is going to be at the level that it needs to be to make sure that... So...

Cork obviously have gone for the high profile, former player, absolute legend who had a very specific kind of attitude to the game.

And that's not enough.

You need a backroom team.

There's great stuff in the papers today, in the Examiner and elsewhere, about Cork's problems.

And Kilkenny need to look at that and go...

We could be in the middle of a famine as long as corks, unless we arrest the slide.

And how are we going to do it?

We're going to have to do whatever it was that Limerick did.

We're going to have to look at Galway and go, how did they change from last year being terrible to this year being really good?

No.
