Over the course of the season, it's and I give a lot of credit to David Popkins, the hitting coach, is that they've taken guys that have good swings, have good approaches, make contact, have natural bat to ball, as you call it, and they've encouraged them all to take more aggressive swings, swing with intent, swing with more aggression, take be do selectively aggressive.
And what that has meant is every single
Blue Jay except one, every single blue jay except one swung harder in terms of bat speed in the second half than they did in the first half.
The only one that didn't, Andre Jimenez, is now swinging harder in the postseason than he did in the second half.
So the trend is clear.
Every single one of these guys is swinging harder now than they did in the beginning season.
And for Vladdy, it's meant he's swinging harder than he's ever swung since we've started trending.
Tracking these things.
So he is, and and he's like a good microcosm for this whole offense.
Dude makes contact.
He can make really good contact.
Now I think he's looking in slightly different zones.
He's being aggressive, you know, in a slightly different way, but he's also swinging harder than ever in case it's almost like swing hard in case you hit it, you know?
