Every pitcher is some combination of stuff, just sort of nastiness, velocity, movement, that sort of stuff.
Command, ability to place those things.
And then a little bit more nebulous, like interaction of the arsenal.
Like we were talking about with Cease.
Stuff has always been great.
Command's always been middle, mid.
but now he's pushed the arsenal, so the size of the arsenal to the point where it's mid or better, and that's why he's been having such a great year because it's always been elite stuff.
That's why I'll always bet on elite stuff.
Elite stuff tends to be very sticky.
Game to game, it's always there.

five six starts of good command uh before you can actually believe in it and so that's why I tend I have a I wear it on my sleeve it's a biggest complaint of my commenters maybe when I do my rankings is that I undervalue the command types but I see I see in the command types guys that come and go and are really hard to kind of figure out when they're going to be great
Merrill Kelly was a guy who made it on command for so long, and then it just sort of fell apart.
And I tend to see that with the command guys, that they can have a great year.
Miles Michaelis had great command, bad stuff, and eventually that caught up to him.
