They're having meetings with teams.

They're trying to get jobs with teams.

And so you get a little bit of a glimpse of the kind of work that's being done in teams because the best ones there get hired to teams and they'll continue that work.

So it's fun to see where research is right now on the cusp of being landed with a team.

um and uh it's just the kind of conversations you have there are they always leave with more ideas uh for my own research what we did uh that we're going to present there is one of the things that has always bothered me about stuff plus this number that we've created that that kind of brings together a pitcher's spin and velocity and all those things

What bothers me about it is when people ask me, why is this guy's stuff plus bad?

Or why is this guy's stuff plus good?

When they disagree or they just don't understand.

And it's a black box because it's machine learning.

It's a machine that's going, oh,

This, this, this, this comp, you know, like, what does this look like?

You know, what does somebody with like this spin and this release point, you know, like, so it's, it's, it's analyzing millions of pitches and finding all these little co-correlations in there and spitting out a number.

It's been very predictive and effective, but it's, it's a black box.

So we've created an AI agent that can look into that black box and tell you in plain language why it thinks that the Stuff Plus is high or low on a picture.

I just think that'll be super useful for broadcasters, for writers, for anybody who just wants to understand, you know, why Shane Beaver's stuff is low.
