But I think the jargon that he ended up uttering on many occasions, I think that that sort of view of him actually permeated the dressing room and maybe he lost the respect of his players as well.

They can.
They haven't beaten France since 2017 is the only thing, but they've been getting closer.

The thing that really helped Ireland in that World Cup
game last year was that it was an awful day there was a gale force win something like you'd see in Salt Hill in the National League afternoon and Ireland really benefited from that particularly in the first half of that game so I'm just a little bit concerned of getting carried away with that performance in the World Cup last year because it was a freakish set of circumstances
That being said, there is no question that they are getting closer to this French team.
They don't really like each other, these two teams.
Like I mentioned it on Monday, the Bertha Miu biting incident that went unpunished at the time in that game last year.
She got a multi-game suspension.
I think it was a nine-game suspension after that bite last year.
But she obviously continued to play that full game against Ireland.
So she's going to be starting.
Tomorrow night, she starts as a blindside flanker against Ireland.
And I wouldn't be surprised if she shipped an early hard tackle or two from one of her Irish counterparts just to put down a bit of a marker.
So they absolutely can.
