Those two people you mentioned, Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell, have just such cutting and incisive takes that are timeless and really apply to today.
And really apply to the knee jerk reflexive reactions to people that people have around kind of the conversation, especially around government spending.

And some of the identity politics stuff, especially with Thomas Sowell, where sometimes you got to make hard decisions in government and no one in government wants to make the hard decisions.
They always want the future generations to foot the bill.
And so those two and people like Friedrich Hayek before them really outlined all of these philosophies and
