But like...
I agree with that Henry Ford saying 100%.
If you decide that you are going to figure out how to cut dovetails, anybody can fucking figure out how to cut dovetails, right?
It's not that fucking hard.
But...
there are people who are more that have a natural aptitude toward it and other people who struggle with it.
So what do you do if the person who is kind of like, well, I'm just not meant to be good at this.

kind of sucks like they're really not good at it yeah right yeah like but like that's okay they might be a fucking brilliant pianist you know and i'm not and i would i would kill to be an amazing piano player but i'm not i'm very average and that's fine that's not in my skill set but for whatever reason cutting dovetails like i could do that shit in my sleep and i and i kind of always could
It's okay to kind of suck if it brings you joy.
Yeah.
Underestimating the effort.
That's the first day of every class I ever teach.
Because most of the time, most of the classes I teach are design based in some way.
So they have some creative freedom over the project.
We design it.
And it's always like, so I'm going to build a chest of drawers.
