And so you got to do that.
And, you know, the Bible is very good.
A lot of people take this passage out of context.
But when I was pastoring, I would preach on this a lot.
There's a passage in the Bible where, you know, if somebody sins against you, you know, first go to them in private and then do this.
And then you ask, well, a lot of people think that that's only if somebody sinned against me.
Okay, I know that's what the Bible says, but it's still, even in the workplace, has always turned out to be a really good format to resolve conflict in a lot of situations.
Going over first, having a conversation, if that doesn't resolve conflict,
Then you got to go and have it with somebody else, which is a good idea.
You go in with somebody else, you get somebody else on your side, you go in.
If that doesn't work, then you go to the authority.
Then you bring in the authority, which could be a policy, could be a higher level manager, things like that.
But through all of that, you can't own the outcome.
So that would be my advice on that.
And not just I mean, not just at work.
One of the striking differences is there are times, you know, so two of our four children are adopted, our oldest two.
Um, and we adopted them as a sibling group when, when they were, oh, they were, you know, 11 and 12 when we, when they became part of our family.
And, uh, because they got, um,
They had to walk a rough first 11 and 12 years on this earth.
They did not have a good start to things.
