You really got to watch it with Nile crocodiles.
So if they're in Florida, they're much bigger than American crocodiles.
Yeah, they found a couple of them.
Yeah, I know they've captured at least two of them.
Well, the biggest reptile in the world, in terms of weight, back to our size conversation, is a saltwater crocodile, and it's neck-and-neck with a leatherback sea turtle.
They're both over 2,000 pounds.
Their neck and neck, over 2,000 pounds, both of them.
That's a big, big turtle.
I mean, the thing about crocodilians, and I think there's about 27 different types, but
Once they get to a certain size, you know, they're vulnerable when they're little, right?
Like birds and fish and things can kill them and eat them.
But once they get a certain size, you know, like you're saying, they're pretty much invincible.
Nothing can kill them, you know?
And some of them develop a taste for people.
Yeah, just movement in the water and just because they're an ambush predator.
Yeah, well, they hunt people.
I was good friends with Peter Beard and he would go to Kenya and Ethiopia and call crocodiles and there's a really incredible photo of him inside a crocodile that they killed.
And he's like writing in his journal, but half his body is in a huge Nile crocodile.
But he would go and cull them for probably a similar reason as you just said.
They're intelligent.
