Well, people get into it and they get addicted and they buy more and more and more and then they get divorced and they get rid of them all or they get burned out on it because after a while it's a lot of work taking care of a lot of reptiles.
So it's kind of like, you know, people get really into it and sometimes it's hard to sustain it.
You know, I went to this thing called Safari Club International in Vegas.
It's the biggest trophy hunting, you know, convention.
And I was filming undercover and I...
I started out asking, yeah, can you taxidermy this and that?
And then I kind of raised the bar and I said, you know, can you taxidermy a chimp for me?
And they're like, yeah, we can do a chimp.
So what about an orangutan?
Yeah, we could do an orangutan.
Anyway, I was going around to different taxidermists in this giant convention.
They had elephants and lions and all kinds of stuff.
Eventually I asked someone if you could taxidermy a human and then suddenly I noticed all these guys starting to follow me and there was a big NRA booth and a lot of people with guns and eventually they surrounded me and I was trying to get rid of my camera gear and throw it in the garbage and stuff but it was interesting where the line is and what you're allowed to
I mean, obviously- It was kind of a joke, but they literally started putting eyeballs on me and saying, who the fuck is this guy?
Wouldn't you?
Yeah, but they were- Hey, how do you take a fucking human and turn it into a statue?
People have shrunken heads.
I know people with shrunken heads, actually.
They collect them.
But no, it's pretty macabre.
