Um I think this IPF Worlds was an example of what happens when rules are not well thought through and the consequences uh that occur

uh depending upon the skill level, the speed and what is going on on the platform.

There were some uh flights at IPF Worlds where the jury was overturning

Either in a lifter's favor or

uh taking away against the lifter.

Way too many, in my opinion, of the attempts that should have been done.

And I don't think it's because we don't have good referees.

I think it's because the referees are being asked to do too many things simultaneously.

The rules are ambiguous, and it is just not humanly possible to be able to look at someone's head, elbow depth, foot movement, and butt all simultaneously and expect that to

be consistent and then when you have the replay.

Who can't necessarily hear someone jump to command?

And they only get one, maybe two angles.
