It was incredibly painful during the revolution.
So how do we get through that pain?
Well, we need hope.
God is the only answer to that.
And I just want to be real clear that the that the men of the revolution understood that.
What gave them the ability to push through.
Was faith in God, faith in this beautiful idea of liberty that this wasn't their idea.
They weren't arrogant enough to think this is their idea.
They said this is God the God's idea.
We got this from the Bible, and we're gonna try this.
And if God is in this, bringing into human history a nation where the people are free, where they govern themselves, then we can look to Him in the midst of it.
And by the way, what goes along with that is.
We need miracles.
We need God to help us.
We need miracles right now.
In other words, we're we're supposed to do everything we're supposed to do, but even if we do everything we're supposed to do, we can't win unless God helps us, unless his Holy Spirit is the wind filling our sails, the wind at our back.
We need to get that seriously.
And so that's at the heart of the story of the American Revolution.
Now it's not like my book is about that, but when you read the book, you read it.
It's behind all these stories.
