It is vital we understand this had never been done in the history of the world.
And when it was done, they understood we are under God.
And every one of them, George Washington, John Adams, they clearly understood and wrote
that if we behave righteously, God will bless our efforts in the sacred cause.
If we don't, he won't.
So we will not stoop to the barbarism of the British.
The British were barbaric monsters.
That's something I never understood at all.
And it's all through the story.
They are monsters.
Americans would surrender.
They would bayonet them to death.
And it goes on and on and on.
They, if you want to, who are the good guys, who are the bad guys?
It is open and shut.
Those are the bad guys.
These are the guys, the Americans who said, we will not cede the moral high ground.
We will behave in a dignified, godly way that God will bless our efforts.
That's a covenant relationship, which goes back to the old Testament.
