So I actually encouraged Dan, you know, to, to go up to the door and to go to the house and see if they would allow us, you know, to, to, to come in.

which I didn't think that they would, but stepping back, like just a part of the movie, I had no idea where Adam passed, where his body was.

And something just took me to that location.

We didn't receive the body cam footage from the city of Richmond police until months later.

It really was.

I actually gave Dan the film and I didn't watch it.

And then he blurred out Adam's image and then it made it somewhat bearable for us to watch.

But if we saw Adam's body laying there, we wouldn't.

So there's a lot of things that, you know, when making the movie, we trusted Dan a lot.

He's incredible.

He put a camera crew following us and we were mic'd up throughout these presentations.

That's our hope.

That's our hope that people take it seriously and they know what we've experienced and what we've gone through and they don't have to.

And then they can have a conversation with their kids about it and

And then the kids, the message that we want to convey is that you're not invincible.

So be very careful when you do dangerous things.

So for me, when we were going through the plea agreements, Allison Martin, the DA in the city of Richmond said that, I mean, there's several things that we wanted.

We wanted to read this victim impact statement.
