So that same quest to try to understand the truth of the situation has taken me into all kinds of interesting cul-de-sacs and different turns and journeys.
So, yes, I've been a consultant and I've been an investor and I've been an advisor and I've been an author.
And I've been a repeat author and I've been a founder.
I've founded other things.
I've been a co-founder.
I've been an adjunct person helping other people realize their dream.
And I've had my share of success and my share of failures.
And what's interesting is nothing I've done, just to be clear for your listeners, okay, nothing I've done is become Facebook.
Okay.
So people sometimes are like, why should I listen to you?
You're not Mark Zuckerberg.
I'm like, hey, no problem.
Mark Zuckerberg and Elon, these guys, they are all over the social media.
You want to listen to those guys instead?
They can't shut up about how great.
There.
So go nuts, go for it.
And my my little niche, my little part of this world is for people who want to try to understand what is entrepreneurship from first principles and how to apply those principles in a lot of different domains.
And I know that's not for everybody, but for the people that find that interesting, then we're allies in this common cause where our quest is ultimately a new form of human knowledge, not just to make money.
They're more important than ever because I've always said from the beginning that lean startup principles are really good when you have a confluence of two factors.
