Well, I mean, it's been a hard few months for sure, a lot of suffering.
But I know that this is worth telling my story and, you know, for my grandmother's sake, telling a story that needs to be heard about a company that has made a lot of mistakes.
Ultimately, OpenAI, they haven't apologized to me.
Like, nobody has apologized to me.
And it's clear that they don't care, and we're going to make them care.
I still spoke to him not as often as my grandmother.
I spoke to my grandmother twice a week or so, once or twice a week.
But my father, we weren't as close.
We had a complicated relationship, but I forgave him for a lot of the...
wrongdoings that he had done to me in our past.
And that was in the summer going into my freshman year of college.
And throughout my freshman year, I probably talked to him once or twice a month.
he would make mentions that he was using ChatGPT and had different ideas with AI and what it could be used for in the future.
And like, I didn't think that it was something to be overly concerned about at first because he was just saying he was using it more often.
And, you know, I was like, I guess my dad's just into the tech world, but it was just like a little bit odd, but definitely like,
had me kind of starting to raise the red flag of like, okay, there's something suspicious going on here.
every conversation he would bring up something about, um, his conversations with like chat GBT and how, um, how it was convincing him certain things.
And that, um, again, he would tell me things like, you know, I'm going to make it big, like, you know, everything's going to change.
And, and, you know, I've unlocked the matrix, things like this, that, you know, when somebody tells you that, and it's hard to really say anything besides like, okay, you know, but, um, ultimately, uh,
It was something that started to become more and more concerning as it went on.
