We are on the eve of the California Democratic Convention weekend in San Francisco here in Northern California.

About 3,000 plus delegates will convene and then thousands of others, a lot in the press.

And top of mind, of course, is going to be the president putting troops in the streets

ICE agents chasing our friends and neighbors through the fields and factories where they work.

The president focusing entirely zero of his time on lowering costs, but adding a lot of wars to the maps.

And California flexed a little bit just a couple months ago by adding five seats to take away or match what Texas had done with its rigged districting.

But I think the best

Person to talk to who's been in the fight and hopefully can fire up Californians because he's been unbreakable is Don Lyman.

So, Don, I just wanted to have you on, talk to some of the convention goers as they're getting ready for this upcoming weekend of events and nominations.

And just first, how are you doing, man?

Is it going to stop you in anything that you do next?

No.

I talked to some of my colleagues last week who have been targeted by the president, some of them who the president tried to indict, and the grand jury came back, said not just no, hell no, zero votes for it.

But we were talking about when you're a target of the president and they threaten investigations, and I've got one, Adam Schiff has one, Tish James, Lisa Cook have this mortgage nonsense that they're throwing our way.

Can you just tell...

Our listeners, what it does to you just mentally when you're thinking about, like, is the FBI going to meet me outside my house?

Like, well, am I going to lose my devices?

What does this mean for my friends and family?

Because it's something that unless you are thinking about it because it's a real threat, you don't understand how it affects people.
