Now, I do want to talk to you about this wellness initiative out there.

This term is now a very difficult wellness.

I don't know what it means anymore, but you kind of already touched on it there, that there's all these companies that you can connect with, that you can get, you know,

MHT, you can get all kinds of supplements, all kinds of claims about things that have no data.

Tell us your thoughts about this because it does appear that women are being targeted specifically.

Yeah.

Right, right.

Well, speaking of wellness industry, one of the major forces in that, Dr. Casey Means, may be the next Surgeon General.

Has there been any concerns that you had about her past and then becoming the Surgeon General?

You know, this is what gets me is that the evidence is so absent for all these things, the supplements and all the things that you've mentioned, but they're marketed to the hilt.

You know, right now, for example, you know, there's TV Edge for microdosing GLP-1.

There's not a single paper about that.

We don't even know what that is.

Yeah, you know, so along your lines, your point about that we need to invest more into the science, basic science, understanding these issues in women's health, the NIH cut $14 million from the Office of Women's Health

That's not a good thing.

Well, that's what gets me is when people are hawking things like this, supplements and other drugs, if you will, they immediately lose their credibility.

Because if you're really an expert in this field, why are you doing that?

There's something wrong with this picture.

Now, there is a new drug, a neurokinin, that supposedly has dramatic effect for reducing hot flashes.

Can you tell us about that, and how would you incorporate that into practice?
