Getting swatted at the rim.
This was not a good game for Peyton Watson.
You saw him throw the ball away a couple times because he and Bruce weren't on the same page.
Yeah, not really on the same page with guys.
He was visibly, visibly frustrated.
We couldn't tell if he was mad at himself or he was mad at Bruce.
but they just, it didn't go well.
I'm not willing to abandon it, but that is something that makes me nervous, because that is a dynamic that I think they've been working towards all year, to have the second unit belong to Peyton Watson in a sense, and it went really bad tonight.
The difference is that last game he was in a complimentary role.
Like he was getting passes,
like he was getting the ball, then kind of making a move, shooting a mid-range, shooting a three-pointer when he was wide open.
And this game, the ball was in his hand.
He was the start of the offense.
He was asked to initiate the offense and he was not able to do it at all tonight.
Like very, like tragically not able to do it.
he's good for this somewhere between 12 and 20 points every night.
It turns out like he's, he's a contributing and it didn't look good early on for him.
Missed some shots, but, and it caused Dev to even utter the phrase, he just can't hit the big ones.
And then he hit two big ones, like a meat, like a right.
He just needed Dev to doubt him.
