Thank you.
All right, Spain, Spain.
OK, what Spain does is and this is where it gets a little bit confusing because we could say it's defense.
But what what they do is actually fantastic.
When France tried to play defense, they made them chase in such a way that they were all tired out by the time they got the ball.
And there is a design to that.
If you watch the second goal, for example, and there's a trust that they have and they have this guy, Rodri, in the middle of the field.
who's coming off an ACL, but it's kind of like if I threw a pile of crap at you and you're Rodri, you catch it and somehow give it back packaged with a little bow on it, because that's how good he is.
He's just amazing, and he makes everything look easy.
He makes everybody look better.
So France, since we're talking about death today, they fell on their own sword.
They just...
What they didn't realize was happening is in this transitional game is you can't chase, chase, chase, and then run.
You can't.
It doesn't work that way.
Even the second goal, they took out that guy Barkula, who was very instrumental in making it a tough day for Lamine Yamal because every time Lamine would beat his guy, this guy would run out of position just to chase him down because he was fast enough.
His replacement, Due,
didn't do it.
He didn't chase Poro and that's the only reason why that goal happened.
So France is out and Spain is good.
