Oh, I didn't even realize that the infield was in.

I just saw the highlight.

I didn't even realize it.

But there's different times where you just take advantage of guys.

You take advantage of guys to – where you get a runner in scoring position, now a base hit.

I wasn't that slow.

Everybody just thought I was that slow.

If you look at all the –

you know, foot speed or whatever they, you know, I was, I was completely average, completely above average for a catcher, but there was probably seven or eight times before that with the Royals with, with, uh, I think the pirates one time where it was like, Hey, you're going to go here.

And I went and the ball got fouled off.

or it was strike three, swing and miss, inning over.

And all the times in the minor leagues that I got it, it was awesome because it was like, oh, wow, that guy, he really knows what he's doing.

I'm like, I want to do this at the big leagues.

And it just never happened for two reasons.

One, teams didn't believe I was that fast.

Two, I didn't get on base enough.

If you look at my own base percentage, you got to get on base a lot more.

So all that to say...

I stole the base and I wanted the base and the pirates came to me and said, sorry, we don't really give bases away.
