And so what he's been doing on trade negotiations, all the rest, has definitely put them a bit on their back foot.
And the Chinese government is making some very unmarket decisions
in preparing for war.
And if you look at Xi's speeches, not the ones that they're necessarily public, but the ones that are eventually located and translated when he's speaking to the standing committee or the Politburo, he says, prepare for a great conflict.
