New coach at Oram High School, your alma mater, we'll call it that.
So what is it like coaching at your high school?
Were you coaching before Mountain View, maybe not high school, but other teams?
Like what were you in the coaching world?
Yeah.
And this actually came up on our Instagram.
A coach had mentioned something about he's going for his first head coaching job and the podcast kind of helped him understand how to go through that process.
And so the question for you is like specific to this Aurum job, a lot of coaches applied for it and a lot of like pretty well known coaches applied for it.
So what do you think during the interview process stood out in what you could offer Aurum?
How hard is that to leave a program with your boys at Mountain View and come to a a new one for a job that again it's your high school, like I can't blame anybody for taking that, but that seems like that'd be a hard one.
Yeah, yeah.
And so I help at Riverton.
We actually got to play Mountain View last year and a very intense, exciting game.
Got the better of us.
But the perception that I have of your team is they played so hard.
And I know that there's always things that are happening behind the scenes, but it seems like your kids were just bought into we're gonna play so hard and we're gonna play together and we're just gonna find a way to make it happen, even if we're smaller than another team or outsized or whatever.
