One of his colleagues caught sight of it in those long aisles in Iwu.
Basically, this item, similar to the popper, like if you just sold it as is, it's going to sell and it's kind of cool and it's OK.
This first version, the as-is squishy dumpling, made its debut in 2020.
And it didn't flop, but it languished, lounged on the shelves, sold like 100,000.
Then, a few years into Squishy Dumpling's life in 2023, Zach picked up on a huge trend.
He was looking around the toy landscape.
And he was like, duh, people are really into surprises.
