But so it is possible that these changes could result in choices that are higher in whole grains, that are lower in sugar, and that are lower in sodium.
And that would not be a bad thing.
That would be a really good thing.
Will there be increased budgets for this?
Because those foods are going to cost more money.
So will this result in better food choices or will it result in less access?
Will departments and programs have to decide, you know what, we can't give universal school lunch anymore.
We have to go back to having income limits on who can actually access school lunch, which, again, that's a bigger issue and has a whole bunch of things associated with it.
Right.
Universal school lunch is an amazing thing.
So is there going to be budgets for this to be able to implement and incorporate any of these recommendations into policy changes?
Will increasing full fat dairy be beneficial for kids?
Will it end up having more calories because they're still going to be drinking chocolate milk because that's what they all choose, right?
And I think that we don't know, right?
We literally just don't know.
We don't know how this is all going to happen, how it's all going to shake out.
