Defense attorney Bicca Barlow, a DNA specialist, says the test confirmed her biggest fear, that the DNA is too degraded for even modern testing.

The lab was unable to find even one full DNA profile anywhere on the tan T-shirts.

It was much the same story for most of the other evidence.
They had better luck with that orange towel, the one believed to have been taken from the Ryan home.
A full DNA profile was found on the towel.
Barlow says the profile doesn't match Cooper or any of the victims, but it also doesn't match Lee Furrow.
It was uploaded into CODIS, a national database of known offenders.
But again, there was no match.
To be honest, this is a towel inside a family home.
