I don't opt in anymore.

And usually he will come around in best situations, put them on himself, no arguing.

Like, kindy was a tumultuous year.

He had constant behavioural problems and it kind of sucked.

But year one, he started medication and a completely different experience.

Like, his teacher didn't know him in kindy.

So she was like, oh, Micah, our first interview, she was like, oh, Micah's really great.

I really like him.

He's very friendly, good with the other kids.

And I was like, are you having any troubles with him?

And she said, no.

And I told her about last year where he was in everybody else's personal space, constantly annoying everyone.

And she was surprised.

Like, you know, as a nurse, we're taught to give as little medication as possible.

And the idea of medicating my kids, I was a bit, and, you know, some of our family members were very, very disapproving.

But it's a game changer.

Like my older daughter, she started taking Ritalin halfway through year one.
