And it was going to be either something that looked like a misdirected text coming to your phone, it was going to be a dating app, it was going to be something on the Meta platform, or it was going to be LinkedIn.

And I'll tell you what, now in 2026, I'm not hearing victims tell me that they met these people on a dating app or LinkedIn.

It is primarily meta.

I will also tell you that I talk to people who just got out of scam compounds as being the human trafficked workforce.

And they tell me that their work put them on Facebook and Instagram.

That's where they were hunting people.

So when I look at that, there is not only the platform used by the bad actors, but also the platform less used.

The banks, it's the banks.

And honestly, I spend a lot of time in this ecosystem of the people that touch pig butchering and the massive money being stolen by transnational organized crime

And I'll tell you who's always present, financial institutions, banking, payments.

They're always there and they're always trying to come up with better ways to stop this money movement.

And so I recognize that they are in a tough spot.

You are being asked to stop the flow of money after this victim has been targeted

And then they've been groomed for four months and promised a dream.

They've been sold a dream over four months.

And you want to come in and say that person's not real and that money's not real.

You are an unwelcome interloper and they are not interested in hearing what you have to say and they will lie to you and fight you because that's what they've been trained to do.

So I think that.

Banking is put, banking financial institutions, you're put in an impossible position.

And really the only way to change that is to start regulating everybody who's a part of this.
