For Conrad in downtown New York,

They are offering a free cocktail at 4 p.m.

There's also the use of the gym, the use of the pool.

And some hotels have partnerships with restaurants outside to bring lunch in.

So that's also a perk for people who want the convenience and the quietness of working from a hotel room.

There are also hotels that are offering a complimentary room to some guests who stay for a longer period of time.

And this is very useful for guests with families, with children.

And so mom and dad can work in one room.

And then the adjoining suite could be a room for junior.

That's right.

During a crisis, it's also an avenue for businesses to think of creative ways to try and drum up business.

And what used to be something that they wouldn't have considered pre-pandemic, businesses are now considering as an option.

Again, these may not be huge revenue generators, but they help to offset some of the weakened demand during the weekday, the weakened demand from business travelers since business travel has fallen off a cliff.

This is something they can still do for their customers, especially their loyal customers who have points with their loyalty program.

These packages keep the hotel brands relevant in terms of making sure they're top of mind for their customers.
