So it's become rather meaningless, except I think it means something in Carolina.

I think that's a real home ice advantage that the Hurricanes have because of that building, that crowd, whatever it is.

But we'll see.

Since the current playoff format, no team has ever won the first eight.

No team has swept the first two rounds of the playoffs.

That's really hard to do.

And so Carolina is certainly on the verge of that.

They're a great team.

They look great.

Philly's banged up.

Look, they probably shouldn't have made the playoffs.

They probably shouldn't have won that first round.

They are playing.

with house money, if you will.

I know for a fact they are way ahead, or at least definitely ahead of their program.

Like we talked about earlier with the Ducks and with the Leafs in the four years, five years, and Keith Jones and Danny Breer and Rick Tockett, what they're doing over there.

They're ahead of where they thought they would be, I think.

And once they win a round, they beat their rivals.

They put Sidney Crosby and the Penguins down.
