And these women were incredibly dedicated to their faith and really inspiring.

My mother was going through a phase where she was really worried I was turning into a superficial little snot who cared about, you know, whether his shirt was an Izod or Ralph Lauren or something like that.

So she took me there.

She's a really inspiring and fascinating woman.

Of course, when you're growing up, you don't see that.

You know, your parents are just your parents and they're annoying.

But her faith was very important to her, my father's too.

And they gave me that, a longing for that.
