As a concept, as a just sort of an ethos here.
There are a couple things that came to mind for me when I saw Empower Jace about the format.
I mean, the first is a a tried and true Ben Wernie statement, which is Board presence people, baby.
Board presence people, which was born out of War of the Spark.
Which was a format that was both about attacking your opponent's planeswalkers and protecting your own planeswalkers.
And so it was like paramount that you affected the board, that you played to the board a lot early and often, so that you could have the leg up on doing both of those things, either pressuring your opponent's planeswalkers or protecting yours.
And I think the same will be true here.
with the the Jace tokens.
Now there will certainly be some some dickering and dealing on your turns.
Do I attack my opponent's Jace token that has two loyalty on it or do I attack them?
Whatever.
Like you'll figure out that flow and what you're supposed to do.
But I imagine, you know, if you're a lot of these cards that we're going to talk about that have empowered Jace on them.
are strong and they're strong if you get to minus three on your Jace token.
And so I think you're gonna be heavily incentivized to do so.
Did anything else come to mind other than like War of the Spark for you when you were thinking about these Jace tokens?
Right.
And that's gonna be the interesting like when you empower Jace two and you theoretically have it protected.
You probably don't want to downtick to surveil one.
Like it's these are all they're all sort of like it depends.
